Somewhere O'Clock is an Android app, published by Altersoft Ltd, for comparing times across places. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

In short

The app does not collect, store on our servers or share any personal data. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics or tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.

Information kept on your device

The places you add, their labels and your display settings, such as theme, colours, clock format and widget options, are saved only on your device so the app and its widgets can show them. We cannot see this information. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it.

Android backup

If you have turned on Android backup, Android may include the app's settings in your device backup and restore them on a new device. Google provides this service under your Google account settings and privacy terms. We do not receive or have access to these backups.

Permissions

The app requests only the permission to run after your device starts, so that its home screen widgets show the correct time and date. It does not request access to your location, contacts, storage, camera, microphone or the internet.

Clipboard

When you choose to copy a time, the app places that text on your device's clipboard. It does not read your clipboard.

Google Play

Google Play may collect information when you download the app, as well as crash and performance data if you have allowed it to. Google's privacy policy covers that information. We may see anonymised, aggregated reports from Google Play Console, which do not identify you.

Children

The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date above.
